Handmade jewellery inspired by music, lines, shapes and science.

I have liked making things since I was a child and I have always wondered how things are made e.g. food, everyday materials, jewellery, all kind of things that are sold in shops.

When I started making jewellery, it started from a curiosity in how it was made. My first material was Lego blocks creating 60's jewellery that didn't show actually it was made from Lego. Then moved on to resin. I really enjoy the process of making it but I always feel guilty the fact that I produce plastic. In 2008 I took silversmith course and it opened up a whole new world!

I love working with metals. It is a kind of material that responds back when you put in the effort and I love all the process of jewellery making. Metals can be recycled and reused and I like this concept.

That's how I started TamanaRodesJewellery. My philosophy is to produce long-lasting, nicely aging, timeless, playful and quality pieces. All my materials are carefully chosen to get highest quality- finding, cord ends, leather cords, cotton cords, sterling silver, bronze etc... I love to hear from my customers that when they get strong attachments to the products they bought.
