Ever since I watched a documentary program by mathematician Roger Penrose who is a creator of "Penrose Triangle AKA Impossible Triangle, my style shifted to a more playful mathematical and science-inspired piece of jewellery.
This impossible cube is known for Escher's work "Belvedere". I made a 3D jewellery version for my customer to enjoy this optical illusion necklace. Close one of your eyes and tilt the object; you will get the illusion of an impossible cube.
I love the idea that jewellery can have other uses not only for wearing. I love making jewellery that puzzles people. This necklace is great for any occasion; party, dinner, family gathering etc... This is a great mathematical object to enjoy and talk about.
