Watching a scientist lecture about sounds inspired me to create an interactive and very cute tuning fork jewellery. A tuning fork is an acoustic resonator. It resonates at a specific constant pitch when set vibrating by striking it against a surface or with an object, and emits a pure musical tone once the high overtones fade out.

The tuning fork is tuned in "B". Please strike it on the edge of the wooden surface and it will produce the "B" sound. If you would like to have your fork tuned in C, please leave a comment. I can do it for you.

This necklace is worn by one of the characters in the famous fantasy program in season 2.

The tuning fork can be tuned in either B (988hz) or C (1046hz). When I prepare your order, I tune individual tuning fork into a specific tune. If you don't leave your note, your tuning fork arrives in B but if you would prefer the fork tuned in C, please leave me a note.
